Page 19- Sri Raag Mahalla 1- ਮੂੜੇ ਰਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਿ ॥ You fool: chant the Name of the Lord, and preserve your virtue. ਹਉਮੈ ਮਮਤਾ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਸਭ ਮੁਠੀ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ Egotism and possessiveness are very enticing; egotistical pride has plundered everyone. ||1||Pause|| Page 194- Gauri Mahalla 5- ਰਾਮੁ ਰਮੈ ਸੋਈ ਰਾਮਾਣਾ ॥ Those who remember the Lord belong to the Lord. ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਏਕੁ ਸਮਾਣਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The One Lord is contained in the water, the land and the sky. ||1||Pause|| Page 337- Gauri Kabeer ji- ਰਾਮ ਜਪਉ ਜੀਅ ਐਸੇ ਐਸੇ ॥ Meditate on the Lord, O my soul, ਧ੍ਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਜਪਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਜੈਸੇ ॥੧॥ just as Dhroo and Prahlaad meditated on the Lord. ||1|| Page 657- Sorath Naamdayv ji- ਬੇਢੀ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੀ ਬਾਈ ਜਲਧਿ ਬਾਂਧਿ ਧ੍ਰੂ ਥਾਪਿਓ ਹੋ ॥ Listen to the virtues of this carpenter, O sister; He stopped the oceans, and established Dhroo as the pole star. ਨਾਮੇ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੀਅ ਬਹੋਰੀ ਲੰਕ ਭਭੀਖਣ ਆਪਿਓ ਹੋ ॥੪॥੨॥ Naam Dayv's Lord Master brought Sita back, and gave Sri Lanka to Bhabheekhan. ||4||2|| Page 691- Dhanasaree Kabeer ji- ਚਾਰਿ ਬੇਦ ਅਰੁ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਪੁਰਾਨਾਂ ॥ The four Vedas, the Simritees and the Puraanas ਕਮਲਾਪਤਿ ਕਵਲਾ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨਾਂ ॥੩॥ Vishnu the Lord of Lakshmi and Lakshmi herself - none of them know the Lord. ||3|| Page 875- Gond Naamdayv ji- ਪਾਂਡੇ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਰਾਮਚੰਦੁ ਸੋ ਭੀ ਆਵਤੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਥਾ ॥ O Pandit, I saw your Raam Chand coming too ਰਾਵਨ ਸੇਤੀ ਸਰਬਰ ਹੋਈ ਘਰ ਕੀ ਜੋਇ ਗਵਾਈ ਥੀ ॥੩॥ he lost his wife, fighting a war against Raawan. ||3|| Page 1374- Jaijaiwanti Kabeer ji- ਕਬੀਰ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਨ ਮਹਿ ਭੇਦੁ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਬਿਚਾਰੁ ॥ Kabeer, it does make a difference, how you chant the Lord's Name, 'Raam'. This is something to consider. ਸੋਈ ਰਾਮੁ ਸਭੈ ਕਹਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਕਉਤਕਹਾਰ ॥੧੯੦॥ Everyone uses the same word for the son of Dasrath and the Wondrous Lord. ||190|| ਕਬੀਰ ਰਾਮੈ ਰਾਮ ਕਹੁ ਕਹਿਬੇ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਿਬੇਕ ॥ Kabeer, use the word 'Raam', only to speak of the All-pervading Lord. You must make that distinction. ਏਕੁ ਅਨੇਕਹਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਗਇਆ ਏਕ ਸਮਾਨਾ ਏਕ ॥੧੯੧॥ One 'Raam' is pervading everywhere, while the other is contained only in himself. ||191|| Page 1412- Salok Vaaran te Wadhik Mahalla 1- ਰਾਮੁ ਝੁਰੈ ਦਲ ਮੇਲਵੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਲੁ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ॥ Raam Chand, sad at heart, assembled his army and forces. ਬੰਤਰ ਕੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਜੁਝੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥ The army of monkeys was at his service; his mind and body became eager for war. ਸੀਤਾ ਲੈ ਗਇਆ ਦਹਸਿਰੋ ਲਛਮਣੁ ਮੂਓ ਸਰਾਪਿ ॥ Raawan captured his wife Sita, and Lachhman was cursed to die. ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰਣਹਾਰੁ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਿ ॥੨੫॥ O Nanak, the Creator Lord is the Doer of all; He watches over all, and destroys what He has created. ||25|| ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਝੂਰੈ ਰਾਮਚੰਦੁ ਸੀਤਾ ਲਛਮਣ ਜੋਗੁ ॥ In his mind, Raam Chand mourned for Sita and Lachhman. ਹਣਵੰਤਰੁ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਆਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਜੋਗੁ ॥ Then, he remembered Hanuman the monkey-god, who came to him. ਭੂਲਾ ਦੈਤੁ ਨ ਸਮਝਈ ਤਿਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਏ ਕਾਮ ॥ The misguided demon did not understand that God is the Doer of deeds. ਨਾਨਕ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਸੋ ਕਿਰਤੁ ਨ ਮਿਟਈ ਰਾਮ ॥੨੬॥ O Nanak, the actions of the Self-existent Lord cannot be erased. ||26|| Page 1429- Salok Mahalla 9- ਰਾਮੁ ਗਇਓ ਰਾਵਨੁ ਗਇਓ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਬਹੁ ਪਰਵਾਰੁ ॥ Raam Chand passed away, as did Raawan, even though he had lots of relatives. ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਥਿਰੁ ਕਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਜਿਉ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੫੦॥ Says Nanak, nothing lasts forever; the world is like a dream. ||50|| ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਰ ਮੈ ਗਹਿਓ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਮ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥ I have enshrined the Lord's Name within my heart; there is nothing equal to it. ਜਿਹ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸੰਕਟ ਮਿਟੈ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੁਹਾਰੋ ਹੋਇ ॥੫੭॥੧॥ Meditating in remembrance on it, my troubles are taken away; I have received the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||57||1||
